DATOS DEL CURSO Y VIAJE

Les contaré como ha sido el proceso de formulación del curso, las condiciones y los trámites que he tenido que realizar para poder pasar una estadía dos meses como estudiante en Inglaterra.

El primer paso fue contactar una escuela que realiza cursos en el extranjero, se pueden realizar las gestiones de manera independiente si se quisiera pero por ser la primera vez que viajo tan lejos y a un lugar que no es mi idioma nativo, preferí hacerlo con intermediarios, así que me contacté con EF (Education First), lo que me parece más serio, (eso lo podré confirmar una vez que haya vivido la experiencia).

Todos los trámites los realicé desde remoto, es decir todo desde la casa sin necesidad de ir a ningún lugar (eso es lo mejor), bueno como decía, sacar visa no se necesita si uno va por menos de 6 meses, (un costo menos), se llena un formulario con una serie de ciudades donde existen escuelas EF, (dos solamente son para adultos), y los trámites que quieres realizar con ellos, luego una serie de documentación con información y especialmente las preferencias, ya sea en casa de familia o en la residencia EF, en mi caso preferí familia, lo que significa que me dan desayuno y cena de Lunes a Viernes y el fin de semana una merienda y cena, todo estaría cubierto, el gasto que debo hacer es el almuerzo diario.

Lo segundo y muy importante es tener un seguro, te recomiendan uno de ellos pero se puede tomar uno aparte y enviarles la información, también conseguí una tarjeta de estudiante ISE que debería reducirme algunos costos de viaje (es como tener carné escolar chilensis pero que te sirve en todo el mundo), soy una teenager!!! Todo esto es pagado…por mi obviamente.

Las clases son todos los días y se debe asistir un mínimo de 80%, espero ir a todas las clases y el fin de semana dedicarme a conocer…

Los pasajes los compré por mi cuenta, también la escuela presta el servicio, pero preferí hacerlo yo misma por un tema de costos.

Todo el valor del curso debe estar cancelado antes del viaje, cambiar de fecha por fuerza mayor está permitido pero debe estar bien justificado.

Luego de terminada la cancelación se realiza una reunión de pre-partida donde entregan toda la información que te van a solicitar en el país de destino, por ejemplo la aceptación en el curso, el pago completo de éste y que cuentas con un dinero para poder subsistir en la ciudad por el tiempo que vas a estudiar....Ah! en la reunión te regalan un lindo bolso donde le haces propaganda cuando lo uses y un pendrive…

En la reunión de pre-partida te dan una serie de indicaciones y un check list que es responsabilidad y obligación de uno seguirlo, especialmente si se es primeriza, hice todo lo que se indica, asi que espero no tener problemas durante el viaje, soy muy nerd para estas cosas, hipster suena más cool.

Ahora queda iniciar el viaje, estaré mandando fotos…

I will tell you how it has been the formulation of the course, the conditions and procedures I've had to do in order to spend as a student two months in England.

The first step was to contact a school that takes courses abroad, you can arrange independently if you wanted but it is the first time I am travelling as far as a place that is not my native language  so I preferred to do it with intermediaries. I contacted EF (Education First) , which I find more reliable, ( I will be able to confirm that when I finish my course) .

All procedures realized from the remote , i.e., everything from home without going anywhere (that's the best ) , well as I said, you don’t need visa one goes for less than 6 months ( cost less ) , you have to fill a form with a number of cities where there are EF schools, ( two are only for adults), and the action you want to perform with them, then a series of documents with information particularly preferences in either house family or EF residence , in my case I preferred family, which means they give me breakfast and dinner Monday through Friday and the weekend afternoon tea and dinner, all would be covered , the expense that I’ll have is the daily lunch.

The second and very important to have insurance , we are recommend one of them but you can take one apart and send the information , I also got a student card ISE should reduce me some travel costs ( it's like having Chilean school card but it works in worldwide ) , I'm a teenager ! This is all paid ...  obviously.

Classes are every day and have to attend a minimum of 80 % , I hope to go to every class and devote the weekend to walk...

I bought the airplane tickets by myself, the school also provides the service, but I preferred to do it myself for a cost issue .

The entire course fee must be paid before travel. Is permitted to change of date due to force majeure but must be well justified.

After completed the paying, you have a meeting pre-departure where they give you all the information that you will apply in the country of destination, for example your accepting of the course, your payment in full to this and you have enough money for surviving in the city by the time you're going to study .... Ah ! at the meeting giving you a cute bag (you can advertise them when you use it) and a USB flash drive ...

At the meeting of pre - departure you get a set of directions and a check list that is the responsibility and obligation to follow , especially if you 're a new in this things , I'll follow everything, so I hope not to have problems during the trip , I am very nerd for this stuff , sounds cool hipster .
